2010 and beyond...
Made in Nepal: Sikles Community Project High Tide is preparing to extend it's activity to Nepal in collaboration with Dr. Sara Parker (Liverpool John Moores University) and her long-term link with the remote mountain community in Sikles. In 2010 in collaboration with LJMU funding is being sought to link communities in the Merseyside region with the mountainous communities of Nepal. Here we will begin our cultural exchange with the people of Sikles and explore the effects of climate change on their way of life and local environment by focussing on the rapid melt of the region's glaciers.
